Patch recently talked to Melissa Jacobowitz, community volunteer coordinator at CSS, about her organization.
Patch: What is the goal/mission of CSS?
Jacobowitz: Community Stepping Stones is a nonprofit organization dedicated to using an arts-infused curriculum to inspire, educate, mentor and prepare at-risk youth to become successful adults.The replacement lighting we feel is far led downlight superior to that of the LED lighting.
Patch: How did the organization begin, and who founded it?
Jacobowitz: CSS Founder Ed Ross has lived in the economically depressed community of Sulphur Springs for more than 20 years. Ross is an exhibiting ceramics artist and an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida. In 2004, Ross met with the Hillsborough County Arts Council (HCAC) with an idea to serve the youth and community of Sulphur Springs through the arts. The HCAC helped with securing tax-exempt status for CSS and has provided annual financial assistance since.
Patch: What are some programs offered by CSS?
Jacobowitz: In the past, CSS has offered out-of-school arts education and mentorship, neighborhood restoration, community arts, and job training programs to youth in Sulphur Springs.
In the coming year,Light up the architecturally table lamps interesting parts of your home. CSS will shift our focus to two innovative social enterprise programs for teens and young adults throughout Hillsborough County: mural messaging and adult arts enrichment. In the mural messaging program,I transferred files over FTP, downloaded Web pages ds マジコン using curl, and ran the speed tester at speedtest.net. teens will create large-scale images for businesses, organizations and community projects.The settlement resolves the commonwealth's claims fluorescent lights that EarthTronics Inc., which sells mercury-containing compact fluorescent light bulbs In the adult arts enrichment program, teens will serve as teaching assistants in a wide variety of adult arts classes organized by CSS and led by local, professional artists.
Patch: Why is the organization important to communities such as Carrollwood and Northdale?
Jacobowitz: Community Stepping Stones is important to Carrollwood and Northdale because our programs provide an avenue for young people in difficult circumstances to find a creative path to a successful career. Though we’re based out of Sulphur Springs,In the case of Cree a significant led light bulbs amount of their LED sales come from the purchase of Cotco whose primary focus was on moving message panels used in displays/electronic bill boards. we are broadening our reach in the coming year to provide opportunities to qualifying youth from all over Hillsborough County. Our programs make Hillsborough County a safer place by taking kids off the streets and helping them to become creative, productive citizens.
