GOP bill weakens light bulb efficiency law
House Republicans plan to bring to the floor next week legislation that would water down a provision in a 2007 energy law that requires light bulbs to be more energy efficient.
House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton (R-Mich.) has been working behind the scenes for weeks with other Republicans on the panel on compromise legislation to reel in the light bulb efficiency law. The lawmakers used a bill introduced by Rep. Joe Barton as a baseline, but the details of the final agreement were not immediately clear Wednesday night.Now, LED flashlights,led tube are equipped with multiple small LED bulbs which work together in order to emit a good and strong beam necessary to power a portable torch.
“Chairman Upton announced in June that he was working closely with members of his committee on a legislative solution,” committee spokeswoman Charlotte Baker told The Hill in a statement.The most important step is hiring the right LED lighting experts to help with besttube the retrofit process. “He plans to bring a bill to the House floor next week.These are also used as art light as well, it is because crystal these lights did not emit any harmful rays and the bluish color of LED lights makes a painting look very different from others and makes them attractive for the viewers.”
Barton’s Better Use of Light Bulbs (BULB) Act would repeal a provision in the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 that requires traditional incandescent light bulbs to be 30 percent more energy efficient beginning in 2012.
Republicans have cast the provision as a “light bulb ban,” arguing that it will disadvantage incandescent bulbs in favor of more expensive LED (light-emitting diode) and CFL (compact fluorescent light) bulbs.,Led light Light-Emitting Diode or L.E.D. based devices are becoming more and more popular these days. What's not to like about them? LEDs and CFLs are much more efficient than traditional incandescent bulbs.These lights are adopted by the various security lightbright agencies as these are the best lights to use with a security camera or a security device.
A coalition of environmental and energy efficiency groups are mounting a campaign to defend the light bulb efficiency law.
The groups are running advertisements in Capitol Hill newspapers that say, “Phasing in energy efficient light bulbs means more choices and more savings and that’s good for families, the country and the environment.”
The groups include the Natural Resources Defense Council, the Alliance to Save Energy and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association.

Really awesome post. Whenever you add something new to your garden or greenhouse there are always a lot of unanswered questions that you might have. Using a newer technology can be exciting but there can also be some new challenges. LED growing lights are a good way to grow your plants in a way that will get you some amazing results.
